The opening jangly riff reminded me of 'Ever Fallen in Love' although when the vocals kicked in the first thing that enters my mind is The Cure's Robert Smith mixed with any 80's/90's indie rock pop bands, especially The Sultans Of Ping F.C.
The song itself is pretty standard whilst retaining a piece of originality. The second track on this disc is actually a remix of the band's previous single. 'I Understand' comes complete with Ian Brown-style vocals and a Stone Roses feel mixed with a Depeche Mode synth sound.
All in all a decent single and a band I will look forward to hearing a full album's worth from on the 22nd Feb when the band's new album is released entitled ' The Electric Kool Aid Cuckoo Nest' which will be supported by a UK tour from the 17th Feb until 13th March.
