Formed in Sweden, Grand Rezerva have previously released a self titled EP in 2009 and now state they will no longer release albums or EPs, only singles as this gets the music to the fans quicker.

'Badlands' is their latest single release and is a fairly standard 80's sounding classic rock style track. With the high standard of bands from Sweden over the recent past they have a lot to live up to and 'Badlands' is generic in every sense; the vocals, the solo...even the bells and dog barks in the mid section don't do anything to lift the song.

Hard to judge a band on just one song but let's hope they can impress more with the next one.
