Just looking at the sleeve here this is a band that ticks all my Uber approved boxes from the get go; Skull in logo (check), Guitars worn below groin height (check), Feather cut hair dos and drainpipe jeans (double check), Sleazy punk 'n' roll music (ahhh check) - However with the state of world unrest unfolding around us right now I have to admit that I was half expecting the lead cut here 'Stick It To The Man' to be one angry mofo of a tune with an MC5 type hellraising call to arms. So you can imagine my surprise when the Glitter drums kick up and off we go on a seventies glam-tinged barnstormer of a tune. Adding a little piece of Chinn/Chapman songwriting suss to your repertoire is never a bad thing in my book, and I can't help but think of the glam pop perfection that was pre 'Stakk Attakk' Wrathchild as Robbie, Luca, Timmy and Skinny rock the city of London down to the ground.
Flip this fucker over and what awaits you on the other side is every bit as sticky and sweet albeit maybe showcasing more of the band's America influences as 'Go! Go! DeRellas' is a total blitzkrieg of chant-a-long punk rock sounding something like the Big Bopper fronting The Ramones. Now if that doesn't excite you then you are definitely reading this by mistake.
Right that's me done here, I'm off to make up for some lost time by purchasing myself a copy of the band's debut album and their first 7" single 'She Kissed The Gun' from the website listed
