This album boasts a guest list that is any AOR fans wet dream! Names include Michael Müller (Jaded Heart), Michael Bormann, Fredrik Bergh (Street Talk), Goran Edman (Glory, Yngwie Malmsteen), Kee Marcello, Julio Cezar (Cathedral band), Carol Zardo (executive producer) and the great visionary Gregor Klee (executive producer and the manager for Avenue Of Allies Music).

So straight off the cuff you can see the calibre of musicianship on offer. Joey is part of Avenue of Allies Music, who include Shining Line, State Cows, Angeline, Wheels Of Fire and Skill In Veins in their ranks just to mention a few. So the AOR here is fantastic car driven, groin driven rock.

Taking his cues from rock great like KISS, The Scorpions, Whitesnake, Queen and Journey, Joey carries the torch for AOR/melodic rock with this, his first international album release. Joey Summer came from Greek descent but was born in Brazil. Son of an opera singer, Ruth Salvaterra, Joey learned to love music and the composition from a very young age. The music came from many different ways into his life. Joey's first instrument was his own voice. He used to help his mother in rehearsals for choir that she produced. After his first contact with rock, Joey was forever to take the path known as rock n roll.

Having released his first solo album in 2009 titled 'NASCAR', 'Written On The Horizon' continues the ascend of Joey Summer and contains the hit single 'Rough Ride To Paradise' which features ex-Easy Action/Europe guitarist Kee Marcello on guitar, ripping it up as only a musican of his talent can.
