arrjamcoverWhen you realise what this band are all about then the music makes total sense.

When you hear that a covers band that specialise in RHCP, Primus and Living Colour aren't happy with simply being what they created and leave to fulfill that musical urge of a magical jam session, you'll pretty much get what Arrjam sound like.

Four out of ten tracks are instrumentals (plus you get two bonus editions of the track 'Very Nice') and the aforementioned bands are very much on display throughout - which isn't a bad thing at all but whether anybody really buys this style of album anymore is questionable.

If you like your bass slapped and your music light on vocals with a '70s vibe crossed with a funk-tastic rock element thrown in, then I've no doubt you'll love this. This is improv at its best, but I can't help think that with time and effort that these songs could become even better - missing the point of this band, I know.

Improv baby, it's worth checking out. Geek is the new chic, don't you know.......
