Fitting somewhere between Smashing Pumpkins, Snow Patrol and the Killers, it's guitar based pop songs that are very much the order of the day when you first spin the band's 'Only in Youth E.P.'
With songs as up beat as 'Moving On' and as heartfelt as 'Always' this band have carved out a niche for themselves in an otherwise overfull and stagnant scene.
Singer Matthew Guttridge with his almost female like vocals is the true star for me here - that's not saying the rest of the band are in the shadows... oh no! It's just his vocals stick out like Nelson fan writing for Uber Rock! Oh and before I forget you can sample this for yourselves as you download the EP for FREE by clicking on the bandcamp link below
A band for the future, and definitely ones to watch out for.
