Good things come to those who wait. Honesty time here - I was given this Leather Pig disc by Zoot a while back to review but, being a bit of a fuckwit, I lost it, only to find it "hidden" in my car CD changer a couple of weeks ago.

Anyway, what do you know.......Having found it, it reminded me how fucking excellent it is and, as if to remind me further, the band have made this available free to download from their Myspace page in the past few weeks, so get on there and get it. 

Why, I hear you ask? Because contained herein is some of the best UK modern metal you'll hear. Opener 'Horses Heads In Beds' shoots out of the blocks like In Flames raping Lamb Of God, riffs shredding like nobodies business. 'Insexsessions' is one of the best songs I've ever heard by a UK metal band. Kicking off with a skin-flaying riff, the song explodes with rhythms that will have you jumping round like a fucking loon. It really brings to mind long-deceased UK metallers Dearly Beheaded. 

'Carbon' and 'Biggles Bites The Dust' continue the theme and leave me eagerly anticipating some new output from the Pig. Four songs of sheer quality that would stand up against the US or Scandinavia's best. Go get...now...it's free... fucking hurry up....
