British hard rock legends THUNDER have announced details of an extensive UK and Ireland tour for next March.

The run of dates, which is expected to coincide with the release of a new Thunder album, kicks off in Manchester on 17 March and finishes in Belfast two weeks’ later.

The full schedule is:

Friday 17 – Manchester, Apollo
Saturday 18 – Sheffield, City Hall
Sunday 19 – Newcastle, City Hall
Tuesday 21 – Leicester, De Montfort Hall
Wednesday 22 – Glasgow, Clyde Auditorium
Friday 24 – Cardiff, Motorpoint Arena
Saturday 25 – Southampton, Guildhall
Sunday 26 – Ipswich, Regent
Tuesday 28 – London, Eventim Apollo
Thursday 30 – Dublin, Vicar Street
Friday 31 – Belfast, Mandela Hall

The band said of the announcement:

“This is going to be our longest UK tour for many years. If we’re not playing the city/town/village hall/wedding/shed in the garden where you live that’s because we tried, but it wasn’t available in the time frame. We did not do it on purpose…

“The new album is amazing (we know, we’ve heard it) and you’re going to love it, so this tour is going to be a cracker…”

Tickets for all dates go on sale on Friday (23 September), but a limited number of VIP ticket packages for every show will go on sale via Thunder’s official shop tomorrow morning (Tuesday) at 9 am. Details will be posted on Thunder’s Facebook page at that time.

Pre-sales for regular tickets will begin in various places on Wednesday and Thursday. Again, details for these pre-sales will be posted on Thunder’s Facebook page each day.
