To celebrate their tenth anniversary year, the people behind the hugely successful HARD ROCK HELL franchise have launched yet another specially-themed weekend festival.
Joining their already established HRH, Hammerfest, AOR, Prog, Doom vs Stoner and Blues packages, there now comes HRH Metal: The St Valentine’s Day Metal Meltdown, which will take place at the O2 Academy in Birmingham on 11/12 February coming.
The event will feature 40 bands – headed up by Sodom, Raging Speedhorn, Evile, Hell, Lawnmower Deth and Winterfylleth – across the venue’s three stages.
HRH CEO and founder Jonni Davis said of the new addition to the franchise’s growing roster of events:
“It’s the 10th year of HRH and its time we gave all fans old and new something to celebrate it with. To kick start 2017 in style, this type of event at such a special time of the year, nice and central, should mean everyone can join in for a killer price. It is just our way of saying thank you. We are humbled by the faith and loyalty that everyone has shown and now it’s time to ‘pay it forward’.”
In addition to the acts mentioned above, other confirmed bands are Feed The Rhino, Senser , Savage Messiah, Hecate Enthroned, RS, Cypher16, Fury, Stoneghost, BloodYard, Internal Conflict, Vicious Nature, Jonestown, Anti-Clone, Ballsdeep, XV11, Obzidian, Eradikator, Hanging Doll, Gehtika and Donkerkarnuffel.
Early bird tickets are just £19.99 for the weekend, and can be obtained from www.hrhmetal.com.
HRH Doom vs Stoner takes place next weekend (1/2 October) at the O2 Academy in Sheffield, followed by the tenth anniversary edition of Hard Rock Hell itself at Hafan-Y-Mor in north Wales from 10-13 November.
