FESTIVAL NEWS: Bloodstock, Steelhouse and HRH all announce more acts PDF Print E-mail

As the summer festival season approaches ever faster, three of Uber Rock’s favourite events have announced more additions to their collective bills.




First up, Bloodstock, which takes place at Catton Park in Derbyshire from 10 – 13 August, have announced that Manchester hardcore bruisers Broken Teeth will be doing their damnedest to inflict some of the same when they open the main stage on the Sunday morning.


Meanwhile, Lionize, Black Moth, Wolfheart and Mantar have been added to the Sophie Lancaster Stage. Tickets are on sale HERE.


Down in south Wales, Steelhouse have announced details of their annual ‘Free Friday’ party, which will be headlined by local heroes Hand Of Dimes, who will be joined by the one and only Bernie Marsden (who also will be playing a special acoustic set on the Saturday afternoon) for a special guest appearance. Also returning to the mountain with be Northern Ireland hard partiers Trucker Diablo.

Steelhouse takes place at Hafod-y-Dafal farm, outside Ebbw Vale, from 28 – 30 July. Day and weekend tickets are available HERE.


Meanwhile, St Vitus have been confirmed as the final headliner for the second annual HRH Doom vs Stoner, which takes place at the O2 Academy in Sheffield over the weekend of 30 September – 1 October.


This follows the confirmation that Night Ranger will be returning to north Wales to headline the second iteration of the HRH AOR festival in Pwllheli next March, and that Magnum will headline this November’s edition of HRH Prog, to which Threshold, IO EARTH, David Cross Band,  Godsticks, Multistory, The Far Meadow, Wheel, and Sonic Tapestry also have been added.
