Hot on the heels of a new album release, Canadian rock band Courage My Love took to the cities of the UK to treat their fans to a whole host of new music.

Opening up for everyone tonight was local Glasgow talent, Wasted Summers. Treating us to not only their own songs but a rock cover of Avril Lavigne’s “Complicated”, they really showed off what they could do as a band, getting into every song and making sure it was full of life and energy. It was a lively set that left you excited for the other bands to follow.

Next to the stage were another local band, Remind Me Of Home, who brought a unique and interesting kind of music to the stage. Their eye catching vocals and rhythmic sounds made sure that they commanded the rooms attention the entire set.

Chapter and Verse, a band from London, changed the tone of the night. Offering a slightly heavier tone to their music they certainly knew how to put on a show for their fans. Getting everyone involved from the get go and making sure they were at least moving their heads to the songs they played. This band seemed to be a crowd favourite as people sang along with them, smiles on their faces.

Courage My Love took the stage at last, it was the band's first time playing in Glasgow and you could feel the hype around the room. The three piece band played through their songs, always getting into it and playing to the crowd to make sure everyone was involved and having a good time. The stage presence they had was good, and despite it being a small stage they made sure it was being used to its total potential, never staying in the one place too long.

All the bands put on a brilliant show and knew what would get the crowd the most excited, all the while making sure everyone was having fun. All four were excellent to watch and all worked great together.
