Monster Truck are currently ripping up stages across the UK on a headline tour in support of last year’s ‘Sittin’ Heavy’ album.
Two dates which initially weren’t included on this final leg of the touring cycle were Belfast and Dublin – a situation which was swiftly corrected following their triumphant appearances, supporting fellow Canucks Nickelback, in both cities last October, as guitarist Jeremy Widerman and organist Brandon Bliss explained when I caught up with them ahead of the first show here at URHQ:
The tour continues at the Manchester Academy tonight (Saturday 18 March) and then moves on to the O2 Academy in Glasgow tomorrow, the Rescue Rooms in Nottingham on Tuesday and concludes at the Electric Ballroom in London on Wednesday. Limited tickets are left for all shows.
