Coheed And Cambria have announced that Zach Cooper is the band's new bass player.

Cooper, formerly with AM To AM, replaces former four stringer Michael Todd who left the band last year when he was charged with armed robbery following an incident in July of 2011.

The band, who re-recruited former drummer Josh Eppard last year, are working with producers Michael Birnbaum and Chris Bittner on the follow up to 2010's 'Year Of The Black Rainbow'. They will also play the UK's Reading & Leeds festival before touring North America with Iron Maiden.
