|DONNIE VIE reacts to EZN show cancellation with lawn mower attack.....on himself|

Enuff Z'Nuff's scheduled show at Sullivan's on Friday, May 4th descenced into a star war all of its own following its cancellation at the eleventh hour.
The band's frontman, Donnie Vie, attempted to clear up what happened via a post on his Facebook profile but....well, read it for yourself:
"Just so it is clear, yesterday,, i was ready to get picked up for rehearsal and tonight's show when i got a call that said the show was canceled because the club didn't pay the deposit...our booking agency pulled the show because they are pros...this aint our old agency...we get paid now. Someone just informed me that they called the club and were told that the band canceled because the singer was sick...always blaming it on me. Why would i cancel when Chip told me that there were 5000 line up around the block. Haha. Ironically, one hour after they called, i almost cut my finger off with the lawn mower and wont be playing guitar any time soon. Luckily, I'm too lazy to play it anyways."
While we wish Donnie a speedy recovery following his bizarre lawn mower incident it's over to EZN drummer Randi Scott to have the final word on the situation:
"EZN, our agent, AND the venue all wanted us to play the show. there was a communication breakdown - that is all. it happens in ALL walks of life...... keep in mind, only chip and i live here - donnie lives 2+ hrs away, and tory lives 5+ hours away. we usually meet in the city of the gig these days......that being said, chip and i took a drive down to the venue yesterday and met the owner. GREAT GUY! and killer venue. we will for sure reschedule with him. NOBODY is the jerk here.... crap just happens sometimes."
