VXN, the band featuring three members of the original line-up of all-female outfit Vixen, have changed their name to the snappily-monikered JANETSHAREROXYGINA, aka JSRG.

This move is said to have taken place to avoid any confusion between them and the band known as VIXEN.

The VIXEN trademark belongs to guitarist Jan Kuehnemund, who is the sole original member of the band that continues to operate under that name, and the members of JANETSHAREROXYGINA - singer Janet Gardner, drummer Roxy Petrucci, bassist Share Ross and guitarist Gina Stile (guitarist on Vixen's 'Tangerine' album) - want to make it clear that they are a completely different band.

JANETSHAREROXYGINA will play select festivals in 2013 including the Monsters Of Rock Cruise on March 16th - 20th, 2013 sailing out of Fort Lauderdale, FL bound for CoCoCay and Freeport, Bahamas.
