| More casting confirmed for forthcoming CBGB movie |

With confirmation that Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins has signed on to play Iggy Pop in director Randall Miller's forthcoming movie CBGB comes news of other roles being cast.
Johnny Galecki of The Big Bang Theory will play Television manager Terry Ork, while Swedish/Canadian actress Malin Ackerman (Watchmen) will play Blondie's Debbie Harry.
Mickey Sumner, daughter of The Police frontman Sting, will play Patti Smith in the film, joining the already cast Alan Rickman, who plays the club's owner Hilly Kristal, and Harry Potter star Rupert Grint who will play legendary Dead Boy, Cheetah Chrome. Joel David Moore (Avatar/Hatchet) will play Joey Ramone, whilst Johnny Ramone is set to be portrayed by USTV actor Julian Acosta, star of the Courteney Cox vehicle, Dirt.
Director Miller will follow CBGB with The Drummer, his biopic of Beach Boy Dennis Wilson, again starring Ron Weasley himself, Rupert Grint.
