Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington has been found dead at his home in Los Angeles.

The LA Coroner's office confirmed that the singer, aged just 41, had taken his own life.

Bandmate Mike Shinoda has tweeted that he is"shocked and heartbroken" and added that "an official statement will come out as soon as we have one".

Bennington's battles with depression, drug and alcohol abuse were well-documented in his lyrics.

Linkin Park were due to kick off their 'One More Light' tour next Thursday (27 July).

Everyone at Über Rock extends our deepest sympathies to Chester's family, bandmates and friends.
