Brighton duo BLOOD RED SHOES release the title track of their latest album 'In Time To Voices', as their new single on August 27th via V2/Co-Operative Music
The accompanying video features vocalist Laura-Mary Carter in an arm wrestling competition with one of the UK's most successful body builders. The 'Beauty and the Beast' style arm-wrestling match, held in a seedy backroom bar, sees Laura-Mary take on muscle man Craig Lee, who sits at number 11 in the rankings of the most successful body builders in the UK. It was shot like a film by director Craig Murray, with practical effects by Sunita Parmer, who has worked on new Hobbit movie as well as the Harry Potter series and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
BRS drummer Steven Ansell explained the background to the video: "We got in touch with an old friend of ours, Craig Murray, who we've known for years from the punk scene but never worked with before.... his first video for us is our favourite one to date! No surprise really as punk rockers always do it better."
'In Time To Voices' is the third single to be released from the album of the same name, which is out now.
Blood Red Shoes support The Gaslight Anthem on their forthcoming European tour, which includes British dates as follows:
October 17th - O2 Academy, Brixton October 18th - O2 Apollo, Manchester October 19th - O2 Academy, Glasgow October 20th - O2 Academy, Birmingham
Two people on a tour bus used by the American band Baroness were injured when the vehicle they were in fell 30ft (10m) from a viaduct near Bath.
Emergency services were called to Brassknocker Hill, in Monkton Combe, on the B3108 at its junction with the A36 Warminster Road at 11:30 BST. Agents for the band, which was due to appear in Southampton later, have confirmed the accident.
The group played at The Fleece in Bristol on Tuesday evening.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said the incident involved a coach which had left the road with approximately nine passengers on board. The fire service said both of the trapped victims had now been released by firefighters.
"Those people are now being treated by ambulance staff," a spokesman said. "There were seven other passengers on board the coach, who have also been receiving medical treatment."
One eyewitness, from the Angel Fish restaurant on the viaduct, said she could see the coach on its side:
"The coach has overturned and fallen off the viaduct at the traffic lights on the A36," she said.
Great Western Ambulance Service said two of the injured people on board the coach have been taken to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol while seven others went to the Royal United Hospital in Bath.
"Our staff assessed all occupants and provided any required treatment before and while en route to hospital," a spokesman said.
Insp Nick Hunt, from Avon and Somerset Police, added: "Police are investigating the circumstances of the accident. At this stage it is too early to tell what the cause was."
Heavy rain in the area reduced visibility and it was not possible for the air ambulance to land.
The A36 has been closed between Bath and its junction with the A366 at Farleigh Hungerford.
Brassknocker Hill is also closed and motorists have been asked to avoid the area.
Set for release on September 10th through the band's own label Venn Records (in partnership with [PIAS] Recordings), Gallows' third and self-titled album proves that their reputation as the UK's most notorious and exciting punk band will not be changing any time soon. Recorded, produced, mixed and mastered by long-term friends Thomas Mitchener and Steve Sears at Broadfields Studio in Watford in May this year, it is, say the band "our statement of intent, our laugh in the face of those who said Gallows were done when in reality we're just warming up," they continue. "We couldn't feel more vindicated and proud."
One of the album's many stand-out tracks 'Outsider Art' will be released as a single on October 1st. "I've spent the last 10 years of my life getting lost on the road," explains front man Wade. "There's some dark stories to tell. 'Outsider Art' is just one of them."
A classic Gallows track through and through, it retains all of the bands power and aggression but at the same time leaves their ability to pen a distinctive melody intact.
A special edition version of the album will also include a DVD documentary that provides a fascinating and often hilarious insight into the world of Gallows over the last few months.
Gallows can now also announce that they will play a special record release launch at The Fighting Cocks in Kingston on September 9th and have added a second night to The Underworld in Camden, now playing on both the 19th and 20th of October. Suffice to say, all of these shows will be hot, sweaty and utterly insane.
October tour - support for all dates will be Feed The Rhino and Brotherhood Of The Lake

The new long player, the band's eleventh studio album, is titled 'Honor Found In Decay' and is due out on October 30th, 2012 in North America via the band's own Neurot Recordings.

Sony Legacy Recordings in association with Capo Records, is proud to announce the next series of Rory Gallagher's classic studio albums re-mastered (1975-1982). All five albums will be released in the UK on Monday 1st October for a limited period in deluxe digi-packaging.
Each album has been digitally re-mastered to stunning effect from the original ¼ inch tapes and features digitally restored original vinyl release album artwork, new booklet content and extensive sleeve notes, original album reviews, rare photographs and bonus tracks. Each of the five albums will be released in three formats including CD, download and vinyl.
Picking up where Rory left off with the phenomenal Irish Tour '74 live album, the release of 1975's Against The Grain, found Rory at the top of his game and in sparkling form both in the studio and on stage. The next seven years saw the release of these five outstanding records.
The five re-mastered Rory Gallagher studio albums include Against The Grain (1975), Calling Card (1976), Photo-Finish (1978), Top Priority (1979) and Jinx (1982).
"Continuing on from last year's 40th Anniversary of Rory Gallagher's solo career, we're pleased to present his next five solo albums from 1975-1982," says Daniel Gallagher, Rory's nephew and producer of the reissues. "We're going back to the vinyl artwork and original ¼ inch tapes so that they look and sound exactly as Rory intended. It's also great to see in a digital world that the demand for a physical copy of Rory's music means we can release these albums on vinyl for the first time in almost 40 years."
